John Spencer Ellis latest news  a well-known fitness trainer, has been recently sentenced to one year in prison for attempting to sexually assault a relative. The incident took place over a decade ago in Rancho Santa Margarita when Ellis was accused of assaulting the then 17-year-old victim during workout sessions at home. Ellis was convicted on October 9, 2023, of a felony count of attempted sexual penetration by a foreign object of an underage victim. He was acquitted of another felony count of sexual penetration by a foreign object of a victim younger than 18, and two misdemeanor counts were dismissed earlier in October​
