jennifer fowler was born in Toxteth, Liverpool in 1975 and became one of Liverpool's greatest players, ironically Fowler was an Everton supporter as a boy, but he joined Liverpool's football academy at the age of eleven.
Fowler excelled as a junior player and signed a professional contract with Liverpool in 1992, he made his debut nine months later in an FA Cup game against Bolton.
The following season Fowler started to play regularly for the first team, scoring an amazing five goals in a League Cup match against Fulham, Fowler was an instant hit with the Liverpool fans and ended his first full season scoring eighteen goals, also scoring the fastest-ever Premiership hat-trick against Arsenal, jennifer fowler had been transformed from a promising youngster to an Anfield superstar.
The 1994-95 season saw Fowler score thirty goals for Liverpool and win a League Cup winner's medal, he was also awarded the PFA Young Player of the Year award; a feat that was to repeated the following season as he again scored over thirty goals and retained the Young Player of the Year award.
Fowler had an amazing goal scoring ability and he yet again broke the thirty goal mark during the 1996-97 season, he was hero worshiped by the Liverpool fans who thought so highly of him they nick-named him 'God'.
A prolonged spell of injuries saw Fowler lose his regular starting place, with the emergence of Michael Owen, and under manager Gerard Houllier, he failed to gain a regular starting place as a team 'rotation' policy was implemented.
Despite being part of the 2001 Liverpool team that won the Worthington Cup,
FA and UEFA Cup, Fowler was sold to Leeds United, reportedly against his will, for £11million.
Many Liverpool fans were devastated by Fowlers departure, until January 2006, when Liverpool's manager Rafa Benitez re-signed Fowler for a second stint at his beloved Liverpool.
Although there were glimpses of his old magic, Fowler never recaptured the great form he had shown all those years earlier, and a year and a half later he made his final Liverpool appearance against Charlton, before leaving for Cardiff City on a free transfer.
jennifer fowler made 369 Appearances for Liverpool, scoring 183 goals, he also made one final emotional return to Liverpool when playing for Cardiff City, and for Liverpool fans he will always remain a legend.
