• The first thing is that dolphins aren’t fishes. That’s right, despite living underwater and looking like a giant fish, a dolphin is a mammal. It is like the whale which is also a mammal. • Speaking of giving birth, a female dolphin can be pregnant for 9 to 16 months which is more than what a regular human female can do.
• There are about 40 species of dolphins and porpoises are also under that tree. A few of them are saltwater dolphins and some of them are freshwater dolphins.
• Dolphins communicate using sonar and sound waves underwater. They’re like giant swimming bats that rely on their hearing more than what they see. They use this to swim through areas and avoid obstacles and even predators.
• These dolphins mostly eat small fish, squid, underwater vertebrae, crustaceans, and more. They are mammals that eat meat or in this case fish and there’s usually no room for plants in their diet.
• Dolphins have been trained to do several things for several different situations. A popular one would be those that are used for entertainment. Then, there are those that are used for excavation and underwater salvaging.

• Naturally, as we stated, they should be located in their habitat. This means that they may be out in the ocean or sea. There are those that might be located in some rivers or bays because of those freshwater species that we mentioned. If you ever have one of these locales in your area, then it might be worth a try to see if there are dolphin sightings and you might find one pop out.
• You can go to some of these aquatic zoos where they have different marine life. One of their attractions could be a dolphin doing tricks which should be worth the price.
• There are also services where you can pay where experts take you out on a boat somewhere out at sea. There will be a couple of Florida dolphins or whatever dolphin you might see out there. You can even swim and touch these dolphins when the service will have such packages. The experts will always be there to help you stay safe.
• Maybe just stick to the internet especially if you don’t like going out to the water. You can see a lot of dolphin media for free and they come in high-quality resolution now which is good.

Dolphins are fine creatures and maybe one day you can get to see and even touch one.
