as well as the minimum component mark specified by the course regulations. This means that you need a mark of at least 50% for your module. The highest grade that you will receive for a module is a B for a 4, a C for a 5 and a D for a 6. For a module at undergraduate level, your maximum pass mark will be the average between your component marks. It does not matter whether the grades are all A's, B's, C's or a mixture of them. In this case the average grade is the same as the pass mark.
For postgraduate modules, the pass mark seru tfl mock test must be an average between the component marks of 50%. The highest grade that you can achieve is a distinction, or 3A for a 4, 3B for a 5, and 3C for a 6.
What is the difference between the module mark and the component mark? For modules that have a component mark, the module mark is calculated using the total marks for the module. For example, the module pass mark for a module with a minimum mark of 80% and a maximum mark of 90% is 80% × 80% = 64% and then add 10% to this to give the module pass mark of 74%.
