Common sex toys for women are they enjoying it or not

Study Finds Sex Toys More Popular Among Women in Relationships But Not Viewed as Replacement for Partner Oct. 7, 2004 - According to research, nearly half of adult women either use sex toys now or have in the past. Additionally, they are even more likely to be used by women in relationships. The Berman Center in Chicago produced the report. The center, which is run by sex therapist Laura Berman, LCSW, PhD, focuses on menopause and women's sexual health. Knowledge Networks conducted the online study on behalf of the Berman Center, which was funded by an unrestricted educational grant from drugstore.com. Vietnamese porn movies

The findings were made public at the Chicago conference for the Women's Sexual Health State-of-the-Art Series. Nearly 2,600 women between the ages of 18 and 60 who were chosen at random were asked to take the survey. A little over 1,600 people agreed to participate in the survey, providing information on their relationship status and use of sex toys.

44 percent of respondents admitted to using or previously using a sex toy. A vibrator was the most popular sex object. With 51% of participants in the 25–34 age group reporting current or past sex toy use, young women in this age group were the most likely to have ever used one. It was equally likely for women in their mid-fifties to have used a sex toy at some point in their lives. However, their likelihood of currently using sex toys was only half that of younger women. Most current or former users of sex toys claimed to be in committed relationships and did not see the objects as a replacement for a partner.

43 percent of unmarried women who live with their partners currently reported using sex toys, and 17 percent reported doing so in the past. 35 percent of women in relationships who did not

live with their partners currently reported using sex toys, and 21 percent reported doing so in the past. Less singles use sexual toys The use of sex toys was less prevalent among single women. The percentage of single women who currently use sex toys was 22%, and the percentage who previously used sex toys was 12%. White women and women with some college education were the most likely to use sex toys.

34 percent of white women admitted to using sex toys currently, compared to 22 percent of participants who identified as black, 19 percent who identified as Hispanic, and 8 percent who identified as "other" races. In comparison to 26 percent of women with a college degree and 29 percent of women with only a high school diploma, 37 percent of women with some college education (but not a degree) reported using sex toys in the past month. Sex toys cannot replace the real thing. Overall, women's attitudes toward the use of sex toys were "neutral to positive." According to the report, current sex toy users were significantly more likely to report higher levels of desire and interest for sex as well as less pain during and after intercourse after controlling for demographic factors.

This was true whether or not they were in a long-term healthy relationship. However, current and former users who were not in long-term healthy relationships were still less satisfied with their overall sexual lives than their peers. About 90% of sex toy users claimed that they were honest with their partners about their use. Nearly two thirds of women reported that their partners supported their use of sex toys. Curiosity is the primary justification for current or previous sex toy use. XHUB.TV
